Introducing our first artist in residence, Jess McKiernan.
Printmaker and painter Jess seeks to capture the essence of South West Australia’s unique flora and landscapes. The artist’s hand-crafted screen prints present compositions of natural forms with a bright, bold, colour palette. Check out her latest work and catch a glimpse of the highly skilled process, which involves Jess hand painting each screen of her multi-layered screen prints.
Jess will be working in the studio and open to the public each Friday and Saturday (10 am - 4 pm) for a six-week period. During this time the gallery will predominantly be closed Sundays.
